Vehicle Management

FASTag enabled means - The car will have FAStag installed - You'll have the option to recharge it if you intend to go through tolls

We highly recommend returning the car at the same fuel level as it was when you picked it up. Please note that BharatCars gives you the freedom to resolve all fuel-related queries directly with the host.

To end your trip, follow these steps in the Bharatcar App: <br><br>Fill out the Drop-off Checklist. <br><br>If the car is not KLE-enabled, enter the end-trip OTP and hand over the keys to the host. <br><br>If the car is KLE-enabled, place the keys inside the car and lock it using the app—no OTP required. <br><br>Make sure to report any damages, if any, while completing the checklist.

No, there’s no kilometre limit! You can drive as much as you want during your booking duration. <br><br>Enjoy complete freedom on the road without worrying about distance caps—just make sure to return the car on time!

Before you drive off, be sure to take a few minutes to fill the pick-up checklist. Check all the relevant questions regarding dents, scratches, horns, headlight or other damage in the checklist. Check the inside as well. If you notice any problems, mark accordingly in the pick-up checklist and save the images for any future reference. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to the property and must reimburse the host for all repair costs.

Filling the checklists is simple! Just open your Bharat car App and go to the Booking Details page to start. Pick-up Checklist: Available 30 minutes before your booking start time. Bharat car credits can be used at checkout to pay the booking fee. Your credits are kept in your Bharat car Wallet. You earn credits through promotions we run from time to time. Credits can only be used on the checkout page to pay the booking fee, they cannot be used to pay damage charges, extension fees, clearing outstanding, etc.

At the time of booking start, you can pick up the car from the selected location. If you selected doorstep delivery, then the host will deliver the car. Yes, as a guest, you are fully responsible for any parking or traffic violations incurred during your trip. Any fines or challans will be charged to you as per the applicable rules.

There might be some restrictions depending on where you plan to travel with a Bharat car. You can drive anywhere within India, but interstate travel may require additional permits. Best is to discuss your travel plan with the host and plan for any requirements pro-actively.

You can return the car before the end time, but there will be no unused hour refund provided.

Extension before booking end time is allowed at normal tariff of the booking. For Home Delivery Bookings: Extension within 2 hours of Bookings End time will lead to cancellation of Doorstep Collection. No refunds applicable. Shortening of the trip post booking start time is not allowed. Although, Customers can drop the car early. No charges or refunds applicable.

Once the booking is confirmed, vehicle details with the location would be shared on the application. You can use our application to navigate to your car.

Currently, Bharat car follows a Point-to-Point pickup and drop system, meaning you must return the car to the same location where you picked it up. Dropping the car in a different location is not allowed.

You can book a Bharat car with a lead time of 4 hrs up to 90 days, subject to vehicle availability. However, to ensure the best selection of cars, it is recommended to book at least a few days in advance. For long-duration rentals or during peak travel seasons, booking a 1-2 weeks ahead is advisable to secure your preferred vehicle.

Price Management

The booking price is calculated based on the car type, trip duration,location and various other parameters. Additional charges may apply for services like platform fees,home delivery, late returns, damage protection packages. All applicable charges are shown upfront before you confirm the booking.

Refund will be initiated to the account/card used to make the payment and will take upto 7 working days to settle.

All Bharat car bookings are now fuel-excluded, which means you are responsible for paying for the fuel during your trip.The car will be provided with some fuel, but you can refuel as needed throughout the trip at your own cost. There is no fuel reimbursement, so please plan your trip accordingly.

No. If your payment does not succeed for whatever reason, Bharat car’s booking system will not confirm your booking. In order to complete the booking process, payment has to be done upfront.

Bharat car accepts payments by UPI,credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and wallets. All payments are made in advance through our website or mobile app. Sorry, we do not accept cash.

Rewards such as B-Credits can be redeemed during checkout when booking a car. The applicable credits will be shown on the checkout page and the payment page. You can choose to apply them as per the redemption limits.

If you cancel a booking where B-Credits were applied, the refunded amount will be as per the cancellation policy. Any B-Credits used will be re-credited to your account if eligible.

B-Credits earned during a booking will be credited to your account after the completion of the trip. Once credited, they can be used for future bookings as per the applicable redemption policies. B-Credits earned after completion of first booking will be 100% redeemable for the next trip booking amount

Verifying your profile on Bharat car is quick and simple. Once you sign up using your mobile number, you can head to the Profile section in the app to complete the verification process. The profile verification has 3 easy steps: Aadhaar verification, Driving Licence (DL) verification, Selfie verification, emergency contact details, email verification. You can verify your profile anytime before your trip begins, but we strongly recommend doing it as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute delays. Please note, you won’t be able to start your trip unless your profile is verified.

Bharat car requires a valid driver's license. It's critical that the license is an original. The License must be for a light motor vehicle (car).

Minimum age to book a trip is 18 years. The user must hold a valid driving licence and a valid Identification proof (Aadhar Card).

Yes, you can upload the your Driving Licence post making a booking. Ensure this is uploaded well before your booking start time to ensure a smooth trip start.

To book a Bharat car, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Aadhaar and Driving License issued in India. International travelers with a valid passport and international driving permit can also book a Bharat car.

Before making a car booking, you are required to login using your phone number. You will receive an OTP for verification. You should update your profile details (email, selfie) on the Bharat car App for more prompt communication. Post car booking, you are required to go through online KYC process. You will need to upload your Aadhaar, DL , selfie and emergency contact for verification. Starting your trip is not possible without KYC. Please ensure that the person who picks up the car is the same as the one who verified the profile.
