Terms governing self drive car rentals booked with Bharat Self Drive in Ahmedabad and India.
By booking a self drive vehicle with Bharat Self Drive, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming a rental through our app or website.
Eligibility
Renters must meet the minimum age requirement, hold a valid driving licence (or International Driving Permit where applicable), and provide accurate identity documents at pickup.
Vehicle use
- The vehicle must be used only by authorised drivers named on the booking
- Smoking, racing, commercial use, or illegal activity is prohibited
- You are responsible for traffic violations, tolls, and fuel unless stated otherwise
- Return the vehicle on time and in the same condition, subject to normal wear
Payments and deposits
Rental fees, security deposits, and any applicable taxes are charged as shown at booking. Additional charges may apply for late return, damage, cleaning, or policy violations.
Cancellations
Cancellation and refund rules are described in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Liability
Bharat Self Drive provides well-maintained vehicles but is not liable for indirect losses. Renters must follow road safety laws and report accidents or breakdowns immediately to our support team.
